The Killer Royal Flush

A true story that occurred 3/29/2006 TGI Friday's San Antonio Tournament

I would like to tell you that I was the recipient of  this awesome Royal Flush, but as fate would have it, I had the pocket Ace's.  The Tournament blinds had just been raised and I was happy to look at my hole cards to find I had been dealt the Ace of Clubs and the Ace of Diamonds.  There had been a Pre-Flop raise on the table before me, and I had a good amount of chips.  This was a perfect  Pre-Flop All-In-Moment.  So yes, I made a Pre-Flop All-IN and was a bit surprised that the person to my right (Charles Walter) called me after everyone else folded.  I smiled when I saw he was working with a dead Ace, but was a bit worried about a possible Heart Flush.  The Flop came out and I just about died.  I could not believe he caught the ROYAL FLUSH, much less ROYAL FLUSH ON THE FLOP.  I was drawing blind Turn and River cards and didn't realize until later that not only was I beat by the best hand in poker, but received the worst two cards in poker for the Turn and River cards (as if it mattered).

To make a bad story worse, my wife was the dealer that ended my night at the table.  Ah yes, I still love her, but she has some work to do on her dealing.

Congrats goes to Charles Walter for the awesome Royal Flush!!!!!!!!!!!
